Holiday Activities at OSHC

During the OSHC holidays we had an incursion with Old MacDonald’s Farm for the children to enjoy. There were lots of animals for the children to safely interact with. These included lambs, goats, bunny’s, ducks and guineapigs. The students were able to ask questions about the animals and learnt about how they are cared for.

We have planted a flower garden and started a compost bin outside the OSHC building. The students helped us plant the flowers and have been involved with setting up the compost bin. Having this allows us to be more environmentally conscious and demonstrates these values to the students. The students have also been enthusiastic about learning to run the compost bin.

During the previous holiday session, we had an excursion to Morialta Falls. This activity allowed students to spend time in nature and explore this scenic area.
