Reminder of Student Information about the Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge 

 

Thanks for participating in the Challenge this year!

 

Rules for students:

 

  1. You must use your personal username and password log into the website and then use these to keep a record of your reading on the site

  1. You must have all of your books entered online before Monday, 29th August 2022. 

A minimum number of books are to be selected from the booklist on the website. The rest may be your own personal choice https://www.vic.gov.au/premiers-reading-challenge-book-lists

 

  1. If you are in Prep, Year 1 or Year 2 you can read books by yourself or with someone else, for example, a parent, teacher, brother or sister, classmate, buddy or friend. They may help you or they may read the book to you, if you are just learning to read
  2. Your online books will be verified by a coordinator in your school before the end of the Challenge
  3. All of your books must be uploaded online before Monday, 29th August 2022
  4. If you meet the requirements of the Challenge, you will receive a certificate of achievement signed by the Victorian Premier

How to participate:

 

  1. Your classroom teacher will have given you your username and password
  2. Go to the website

  1. Click on VPRC login with your username and password
  2. When you finish a book, you can add it to your record by clicking Search Book from menu
  3. A coordinator will verify your books before the end of the Challenge in August
