Library Borrowing

It has been great to see so many smiling faces coming into the library this term!  While we are in this period of transitioning back to full time schooling, don’t forget that any day you come to school you can bring your library bag to return and borrow books.  It does not have to be your class borrowing day, and you can borrow as often as you like!

THE BOOKS AND I HAVE REALLY MISSED YOU!

Books that are being returned will continue to be ‘quarantined’ for 24 hours and thoroughly cleaned before they are put back on the shelf.

National Simultaneous Storytime

On Wednesday 27th May Kinder, Year 1 and Year 2 will be participating in the National Simultaneous Storytime.  This year's book is Chicken Divas written by Lucinda Gifford.

National Simultaneous Storytime is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.  Students then participate in classroom activities related to the book.  It aims to promote the value of reading and literacy, using an Australian children's book.  Stay tuned for photos of the event!
