Junior Toddler

What are we learning?
Our Junior toddlers get to spent more time in the toddler room for the last two weeks and has been participating in a variety of activities. They have practices the Äcknowledegment of Country" with the toddlers and continue to read it in the Junior toddler room.
The educators have being singing very special songs with the children called Ïnanay" and "Taba Naba". The children enjoy singing a variety of cultural songs at the group time and engage in the activity playing musical instruments. It was great to see that they are learning different beats and rhythms through the activity.
Apart from the musical activities the children engage in arts and crafts, cooking and outdoor play.
Learning about colors
The children have shown interest in playing with colored blocks and looking for its shadows made from the sunshine. We have extended our learning with a color exploration play set up and practicing the rainbow colors with the "I can sing a rainbow".
