a word from our leaders

Parking and traffic on Montague Rd

A reminder that when lining up on Montague Rd please use respect and common courtesy and DO NOT stop in front of driveways and streets.  It is important that we follow road rules and respect other road users.

A reminder to drive at 10km through the car park and if on foot crossing the car park use the pedestrian crossings.

These common courtesies help us keep everyone safe.

Playground Restrictions

The junior playground remains closed at the end of the school day as it is not possible for us to monitor social distancing, nor manage the size of gatherings.  This includes the oval for gathering and playing on after school.

Thank you for your understanding.

Progressive Academic Reports

Semester 1 progressive academic reports will be uploaded to the Edumate Parent Portal on Wednesday 24th June. Please ensure you can log into Edumate so you are able to access your child's report.

Learning at Good Shepherd

We miss having parents and visitors walking through our corridors and learning spaces, seeing what exciting learning has been occurring!

Keep an eye on our school Facebook page which has photos regularly uploaded.

Seesaw is the electronic portfolio of your child's learning. Some things are added in a draft form, others as a finished product. Ask your child about what is posted on Seesaw, engage in a growth mindset conversation. Showing interest in your child's learning is valuing learning and growth and reflects our Learning Principle Two:

Learning is attuned to be engaging, developmental, personalised and differentiated to meet individual needs.

In learning environments that reflect this principle, the parents:

  • Create opportunities to engage with their child’s learning at home through asking questions that focus on growth, creating space and time for learning.
  • Create opportunities to learn together as a family.
  • Encourage their child to express their needs and support the child’s individuality, strengths, passions, interests and diversity.
  • Contribute to the partnership between home and school through communicating their child’s strengths, wellbeing and individual needs.
