RMIT Discover What’s Next Webinar Series

RMIT University will be hosting a series of Discover What’s Next webinars aimed at providing students and parents with information on the wide range of study areas at the university.  Students will have the opportunity to ask questions to RMIT staff and students about the courses they might be interested in.  The webinars will take place from 9 June – 30 July 2020 and commence at 6.00pm, and students can register for as many as they wish.

  • The College of Science, Health and Engineering (SHE) contains nine schools and offers a range of general and specialist undergraduate and postgraduate courses across La Trobe's multi-campus operations - La Trobe SHE Schools & Departments
  • La Trobe’s Student Excellence Academy provides life changing support and enrichment opportunities that expand current study and employment advantages to students
  • La Trobe also offers an Early Admissions program called Aspire.  This program is designed to acknowledge secondary students who work hard to make positive changes in their schools and communities through volunteering.   The Aspire Early Admissions Program acknowledges a student’s volunteering efforts when they apply.  As a successful applicant, students receive an offer into their course in September before they receive their ATAR - Aspire Early Admissions Program and are eligible for one of 40 Aspire Scholarships
  • This year, La Trobe introduced a number of new courses in archaeology, business analytics, innovation and technology, languages and linguistics, sports analytics, as well as a restructure of some courses offered in Allied Health

Ask an ACU student Webinar

Find out what life’s really like at university.  Tune in to hear a panel of current ACU students share their experiences.  They will discuss everything from timetabling, to life/study balance, social events, sports and how they get the most out of every day.  There will also be time to ask the panel your questions about life at uni.

Talk with Industry events, a series of webinar panel discussions featuring ACU graduates across a range of different professions.  Get helpful advice and find out what it is really like to work in your area of interest

Deakin Explore

Deakin Explore is an excellent resource that allows students to kick-start their course and career exploration. Students can start with courses that lead to a career or start with careers to find courses that lead to it. Students can filter courses and careers by what matters to them; each course and carer lists others that are similar thus allowing students to broaden their options, and students can save their favourite courses and careers to access later, and even share them by email, Facebook and even Twitter.

Students are encouraged to visit Deakin Explore and familiarise themselves with this excellent resource.
