Kindergarten Family History

The Kindergarten classes will be working on their family history project over the next three weeks in class.

Semester 1 Reports

How will teachers report on my child's progress this Semester?

Reports will look very different this Semester due to remote learning and the need for teachers to modify the usual class programs.

The Catholic Education Office has developed a Semester 1 Student Interim Report.

The Report is not a Progress Report related to Learning Outcomes, it is a report on the Student's engagement with their learning during this very different time. Teachers will report on student effort and engagement in Religious Education, English and Mathematics with no comments written on the Report.

Attendance will not be shown on the Semester 1 Interim Report.

When do reports go home?

Semester 1 Student Interim Reports for Years 1 to Year 6 will be available in Compass after 3:00pm on Friday 19 June 2020.  (Week 8).

Kindergarten

Kindergarten students do not receive a Semester 1 written report. However, Kindergarten teachers will be holding parent/teacher conferences where parents can engage in conversation with the class teacher. These will be held in Weeks 9 and 10.

Have you booked your Parent/Teacher Conference?

Last Friday Parent/Teacher Conferences opened via the COMPASS Parent Portal and will be held in Week 9 and Week 10.  This will be a very good opportunity to meet with your child/ren's teacher/s to celebrate Semester 1 and discuss learning goals for Semester 2.

This year conferences will be conducted via ZOOM or PHONE and we ask that after you have booked your conference via the COMPASS Parent Portal, that you complete the attached form to indicate which option you would prefer.

Bookings will close on Sunday 21 June at 5pm.

ICAS 2020 Competitions

Yesterday the attached letter was forwarded to all parents via the COMPASS Parent Portal.

Parents must registered and pay online by Sunday 26 July 2020 through the Parent Payment System, NO payment will be taken via the school office.
