Thank you to our BHCS Parents & Students

As a staff, we would like to extend our gratitude to the parents and students involved in the recent video ‘Thank you Message from BHCS Parents’. What an unexpected surprise and a delight to watch! There were many teary eyes amongst the staff whilst watching students expressing thanks to their teachers and support staff.

We then arrived at School on Friday morning to find a thank you note and chocolate from our parents. One for every staff member, each, personally hand written, that’s around 130 thank you notes! (we hope and pray that no permanent RSI injuries have occurred).

So we wanted to say THANK YOU! Thank you for your kindness, support and for expressing your appreciation in such a thoughtful way. We acknowledge that this time has been a huge challenge to our whole community. We have all had to change and adapt at a rate we have likely, never experienced before. And just as we were getting used to Learn from Home – here we at the end of our first ‘hybrid’ week.

What an privilege and joy, to see our community ‘up for the challenge’. As a staff, we are so blessed that you have chosen BHCS to partner together with you to educate and support your amazing children.

The CareMonkey form will be made available to parents/guardians from 6PM TONIGHT (Thursday, 28th May). The CareMonkey form will need to be completed by NO LATER THAN Monday, 1st June. Keeping in mind, the earlier that the form is completed, the better.

New Developments - Junior School

You may have noticed a few changes to the old Junior School playground area. This is in preparation to commence a large construction project designed to enhance the Junior School.

The new project is designed to upgrade the learning environment and will include 8 generous classrooms, common learning areas, bag areas, storerooms and student amenities. The facility will be linked to the original building which will, at a later stage, be upgraded and refurbished with fewer classrooms, as well as creating specialist rooms. There will also be the addition of a covered play area. The school is not building these facilities to allow for any further significant growth of enrolments, but rather to upgrade facilities for existing students, and expect the project will take about 18 months to complete. Please excuse the inevitable mess and disruption throughout the building process.
