Teaching and Learning

ICT – (Information, communication & technology)

Through remote learning during Term 2, many students and adults have had to use and also further develop their computer skills. This experience has reinforced to all the importance of computer skills for our younger generation moving forward. At Numurkah Primary School our students regularly have access to netbook and Ipad devices to enhance and support their learning. Please see the attached photos of some of our senior students helping and supporting P1J with their computer skills on netbook devices.

Craft

Whilst ICT skills are important, it is also essential for young children to develop and explore their creativity through craft activities. Students throughout our school are exposed weekly to creative craft activities which further support their learning and general development. Often in the junior classes our set craft activity will be linked directly to the letter of the week. All of our students also attend Art once a week with Miss Davis, where they have another great opportunity to be creative. Please see attached photos of P1A working through their wonderful craft activity.
