Swimming
Thank you parents for hitting the ground running in term 4. First day back to remember bathers was a huge task! We have had a great uptake of students doing swimming and they seem to be really enjoying getting back in the water for their lessons. This will be a ten week program and parents are most welcome to come and watch their children relishing the aquatic activities. Year five and six students will be completing their open water swimming program later in the term.
Greater Western Region Athletics Carnival
A huge congratulations to all students who participated in the Greater Western Region Athletics Carnival held last Friday at Llanberris Reserve. All students raced, ran, jumped and threw to the best of their ability and represented the school in a great fashion. From this event students had the opportunity to qualify for the state championships to be held later in the term. Congratulations to Archie Caldow for qualifying for both the 800m and 1500m. We look forward to hearing how the next stage goes for you Archie.
