Wellbeing

A note from Mr Searl

2020 has started with a bang and students have been building their relationships with their peers and the staff of Miners Rest. These meaningful relationships are an imperative part of every child’s success at school. The Year 5/6 students have continued to model the correct behaviours for their respective buddies and are assisting with the students settling into their new surroundings.

As we farewelled Louie and wished him well in his new role, I have been fortunate enough to take on the position. I encourage any families to please come and speak or make a time if you have any questions regarding your child’s well-being.

We also welcome, Jesse Winter, who will be replacing Kerrie as our School Chaplain. Jesse comes with a

wealth of experience and has been working in schools in Geelong and Ballarat. Jesse will be working at the school on Monday and Tuesdays and is available for support during school hours.

There are Chaplaincy Consent forms available from Jesse or Mr Searl if you would like 1:1 support for your students.
