STEAM Enterprise Event

Our STEAM students from year levels 9 and 10 had the opportunity to attend the Enterprise event at Casey tech school for three consecutive days from Tue 2nd May until Thu 4th May.

They had the opportunity to use innovative technology to solve real-life problems such as safety, sustainability and discouraging youth from vaping. Moreover, during the 3rd day which was the presentation day when students pitched their projects, representatives from Casey Council were also present. The council reps were interested in one of the projects regarding discouraging youth from vaping and they want to proceed further with it to put it into action. The students who thought of that idea and used micro:bit technology are Vernon, Phoenix, Seth, Connor and Mehdi.
