Mid Year Concerts

This term, Essex Heights hosted five nights of Instrumental Concerts for our students who performed solos, duets along with small and large ensembles. The experience of performing has given our students an extra dimension to their musical skills. You could see the excitement, joy and sometimes relief, in the faces of students after they performed.  Students from older years were chosen to announce and they all spoke with surety, confidence and clarity.  Special thanks goes to Maurice Duband who accompanied a multitude of students in both the Strings and Woodwind and Brass concerts. Thanks too for the support from our Principal, George Perini, who attended all five concerts and often entertained the audience with his verbal repartee.
