OSHC at Marion

At Marion OSHC we are committed to providing quality learning opportunities, delivered in a safe, secure and stimulating environment.

The children have been busy with button craft, Sorry Day posters, leaf rubbings, cooking healthy chocolate brownies as well as outdoor fun in the playground, having games of handball and gym games of red rover plus dodge ball. This week we will be doing more art and craft including marbling skull heads, kangaroo dot pictures, velvet art pictures and giant bubble making. Our special cooking treat this week will be chocolate Weetbix slice – a big favourite of the OSHC children. Other activities this week will include board games and constriction with blocks and Lego.

The July Vacation Care Program pack is available in the OSHC room, Front Office, on the school website and in the Newsletter. Our excursion these coming holidays will be at Inflatable Zone at the Aberfoyle Hub Recreation Centre. Spaces are available to book into OSHC and the July Vacation Care Program. Parents are welcome to offer suggestions for programming ideas and to participate on our OSHC committee, which meets twice a term. Being a member of this committee gives families the opportunity to have even more input into the program and if anyone is interested in becoming involved, please come and talk to Guy or myself. 

Most families are entitled to Child Care Subsidy so please apply to Centrelink to see if you are eligible. Subsidy is applied to all fees including the additional ones for excursions and Incursions.

The following fees are without subsidy applied and are per child:

Before School Care:  $16.00         After School Care:  $26.00

Pupil Free Day:  $54.00                  Vacation Care:  $54       

Incursion Extra: $20.00                  Excursion:  $30.00
