  • know that a procedural text is a sequence of steps in order to instruct
  • can identify command verbs and time connectives

Mathematics

We are learning to:

  • identify two-dimensional shapes and their features
  • identify, describe and name features that are repeated in a pattern

We know we are successful when we:

  • know the names of two-dimensional shapes
  • identify a shape according to its properties
  • understand the terminology vertex, vertices and sides
  • can create a repeated pattern using two-dimensional shapes

Integrated Studies

We are learning to:

  • identify the properties of living things and what they need to grow

We know we are successful when we can:

  • name the things needed by plants to grow
  • name the things needed by people to grow
  • predict what might happen if there was no fresh water in the world
