Deputy Principal's Message

Welcome to Week 8. It has been a busy fortnight with many classes and groups participating in the Armidale Eisteddfod. We also hosted a combined schools choir rehearsal in preparation for the An Evening with ACOS concert in Week 4, Term 3. Thank you to Mrs Porter for leading this rehearsal with the schools in our region and preparing our students for the Eisteddfod. We are also looking forward to the athletics carnivals this week and next, where students are participating in field and running events.

Camp Quality Puppet Show

On Friday 2 June, K-2 and 3-6 students had a visit from Camp Quality. The Camp Quality presenters, with the help of some special puppets, presented an interactive show to educate students about cancer and facilitate conversations in an age appropriate manner. Students had a lot of fun and learned a lot while doing so. Thank you to the SRC and Ryka for initiating this important experience for our students.

Thank you to all students and families who donated a gold coin at the event. We raised $124 for the Camp Quality organisation and will go towards supporting children who have cancer.

Semester 1 Reports

It is heading into that time of year again when teachers provide feedback to parents/carers and students about student progress via a written report. Please speak with your child's teacher or the office if your situation has recently changed and you now require a duplicate report due to family circumstances. We are unable to provide duplicate reports for families living under one roof. Reports will be handed out in Week 10 of this term.
