STUDENT & FAMILY INFORMATION UPDATE - IMPORTANT

ITALIAN

During this term students in Foundation and Year 1 have been learning poems. Foundation students have learned  “Il Pappagallo” and “Whiskey il ragnetto.” Year 1 students are learning “Whiskey il ragnetto” and “Farfallina.” Students have made their own Whiskey, il ragnetto and were so excited whilst making Whiskey.

Year 3 and 4 students have been learning about “Il Palio” in Siena, Italy. They have watched many videoclips and witnessed the magnificent Piazza Del Campo where the race occurs. Students have sketched Piazza Del Campo, labelled jockeys, horses, helmets in Italian and drawn horses on the race track. Excitement is rife as they plan to design their own banner for a Sienese district.    Signora Vozzo
