Eucalyptus House

Hi, I’m Banin A. I’m representing Eucalyptus 10 as SRC. It has been fascinating how the SRC students in the House have been gathering as a team to meet and make decisions. With all the gratitude and positive messages, we are exploring and designing new ideas while making our House an exciting place.

I would like to congratulate all the students who competed in Athletics Day with different sports, having fun, as well as supporting our House. Giving our best at the Athletics event was an aim and Eucalyptus finished in 5th position. Many students competed and finished in first, second, or third place. We are hoping to do better next year and see us back on the podium!

Eucalyptus students were encouraged to take part in the House Choral Competition. Our chosen song was “Can’t Stop the Feeling” by Justin Timberlake”. A great event for music lovers and a big carry-on for our house. We’ve had amazing chorales before, and it is great to see so many continue to support the House.

Term 2 was a short term with many good events such as the Careers Expo, Authors Visit, Athletics Day, and the Year 10 Road Safety excursion. We also had a successful table tennis tournament to raise money for social service that also utilised the table tennis infrastructure available behind Darwinia and Eucalyptus. A big appreciation to all the Year 10 and 11 students who did their exams, the Eucalyptus staff and leaders are proud of you!

The Teen Library Advisors have now been appointed. Congratulations to the following Eucalyptus students: Raihana E7, Zinat E7, Gracie E8, Summer E8, Eleanor E9, Alia E10, Sirkannan E10 and Tori E11. 

Wishing you all a fun-filled Term 2 holiday! Hope you all get to go out and have a good break before coming back to our second semester.
