Callistemon House

Hello, I am Raei, the student representative for 10 Callistemon. This is my first year as a member of the SRC and I am very excited to work with school staff and students!

Athletics Day was wonderful, and although we didn't win first place, the behaviour and attitude demonstrated by Callistemon students was phenomenal. Congratulations to Callistemon participants for doing your best and landing us in second place.

But with Chorals coming up, we have a golden opportunity to earn some more points for our House by performing well in the Chorals. So make sure to sign up and encourage your friends to do the same. Remember, the more people participating, the greater chance we have of coming out on top!

As we draw closer to the end of Term 2, it's great to see that students have settled back into the academic routine. Most CATs, SACs and exams have been completed, including the Year 10 practice exams in preparation for Year 11 and 12. Students have put in a lot of effort despite losing some lesson time due to holidays and events like Athletics, and we can expect that effort to pay off.

Congratulations to both students and staff for completing the first semester of 2023! Make sure to stay safe, relax and enjoy your holidays as Term 3 approaches.
