Grade 6 Radio Show
Our Grade 6 leaders presented a radio show on Thursday 25 May. Check out how it went below.
The next show June 15 at 7am to 8am on Southern FM 88.3.
Thomas
“I did a sports report. I spoke about the AFL, state of origin and the NBA. I learnt how cool it is to be on the radio. I am getting better at speaking into the microphone so that I am easily understood.”
Tess
“I made a website (https://sites.google.com/view/tripletradio/episodes) and it has a newsletter because we will be interviewing Morris Gleitzman.” “I do a positive affirmations section (like we do in SEL at school). A lot of people start the day busily because they have to go to work, so a positive affirmation helps them start the day well and have a good day.”
Tash
“We talked about the King’s coronation and shared some facts about it. We talked about reconciliation week. It was exciting to be on the radio but also nerve wracking.”
Go Gollingwood!
Sia and Miss F made a deal: If Carlton won- Sia would wear the Carlton scarf If Collingwood won - Miss F would wear the Collingwood scarf. Miss F stayed true to her word and wore the Collingwood scarf for the entire day!! Even with a smile on her face.
Olives
A big thank you to the volunteers from the BBPS community and students of all ages, who helped us harvest over 40kg of olives from the trees in our playground. Mr Crossland has been working with the grade 3 and 4 students to cure and preserve our olives - we can't wait to see what they taste like!
Colour Run
