I hope this edition of the newsletter finds you all well. It always astounds me how quickly the weeks fly by. We are almost at the halfway point of the term. It is pleasing to see our students really engaged in their learning and enjoying spending time with their friends. I would also like to extend a congratulations to all of our student of the week recipients who are working hard in class and modelling the school values.
Thank you to Education Support Staff
This term we celebrated our support staff as it was Education Support Staff Appreciation Day. We had the pleasure of creating a video in the studio in which we were able to acknowledge their amazing efforts. I am sure you would also join me in thanking this group of staff who work tirelessly in support of our school community.
Mother’s Day/ special persons day
I would like to express a huge thank-you to all the teachers who ran a very successful Mother’s Day activity this term. It was wonderful to see the community get behind this event. There was a big turn out and a very enjoyable day. I look forward to many more events where parent/guardians have an opportunity to come into the school.

Helmets
When on duty at the front of the school, it is great see so many students wearing helmets, when riding their scooters ad bikes to and from school. I thank all of the wonderful family members for supporting this and ensuring that their child is fitted with a helmet. Keeping our students safe is a priority for all and it is lovely when we work together on this. A gentle reminder, that students are expected to walk their bike and scooter when in school grounds to ensure the safety of all.
