Wattleseed Ensemble

We are excited to announce that next week, The Hamilton and Alexandra College will be hosting a special visit from Meg Cohen and Katie Yap of Wattleseed Ensemble.

Wattleseed Ensemble, a Melbourne-based folk/baroque ensemble, is known for their passion for storytelling through music. They have embarked on a mission to share their love for music and storytelling with students, and we are fortunate to have them visit our school.

On Monday and Tuesday, Meg Cohen and Katie Yap will lead interactive workshops with our string students, providing them with valuable insights and inspiration. Through these workshops, our students will have the opportunity to enhance their musical skills and discover new ways to express themselves through their instruments.

But the highlight of their visit will be the joyous concert that Meg Cohen, Katie Yap, and our talented string students will be presenting together. This special collaboration promises to be an hour filled with enchanting melodies, lively rhythms, and heartwarming stories.

We invite all parents, students, staff, and members of the community to join us for this not-to-be-missed. It will be a celebration of music, artistry, and the incredible talent within College.
