Boarder of the Week.

The 'Boarder of the Week' has been awarded to two boarders: Luke Pickering and Juliette Wallingford (pictured above).

The values of kindness, compassion, and service are clear in how Luke and Juliette treat others in the Boarding house and service to the boarding house. Luke and Juliette are clear examples of how the values of our College can be manifest in action. Congratulations Luke and Juliette.

A visit from ABSA

This week we were privileged with a visit from the Australia Boarding Schools Association (ABSA). Jordan Swepson arrived from Brisbane earlier in the week to attend our Directors of Boarding breakfast and Sheepvention. Jordan is new to the ABSA team and was overwhelmed by his warm welcome at College, both at the Boarding House and day-school. His visit included meetings with key Executive staff, and an immersion into the day-to-day operation of boarding. We’re pleased to have such a strong connection with ABSA and support their endeavours in leading over 200 boarding schools nationwide.

Directors from visiting schools came together to share ideas and broaden our connections. With a combination of the new and old it was an important time to reflect on the positivity of working in a boarding school and how fortunate we truly are. Thank you to Melbourne Grammar, Wesley College, MLC, and Launceston Grammar for your visit to Hamilton College.
