Kildare Campus Update
Our brand new learning facility - Kildare Campus - is officially open!
Last week, 250 Year 7 students made history as the pioneering cohort to walk the hallowed grounds of our second campus at 194 Mt Terrick Rd.
We are happy to report that our students and staff have settled into their new surrounds with ease, and the buzz around the grounds and buildings is a joy to behold.
It was a pleasure to welcome many of our Year 7 parents onsite at Kildare Campus last Wednesday and Thursday for our informal campus tours and to show-off our brand new state of the art facilities. For those who were unable to make it onsite, we will be hosting the following House-based morning teas for parents/carers to familiarise themselves with their child's new learning facility.
- Brigid and Chisholm House: Wednesday 2 August at 10.30am - 11.30am
- Delany and Moore House: Wednesday 9 August at 10.30am - 11.30am
- Nicholls and Patrick House: Wednesday 16 August at 10.30am - 11.30am
Then, on Saturday August 12, we will open our doors for a Welcome morning to allow all members of our community to experience what we have to offer at Kildare campus and we strongly encourage you to attend.
Our campus opening signifies a pivotal new chapter in our history, as we embark on the future as a multi-campus school and broaden our offerings as a leading educational facility in the Echuca Moama region.
And it's only the beginning.
Included in this first stage is an administration building, library, learning building for Year 7 students, staff offices, outdoor courts, outdoor gym equipment, passive green spaces, car park and bus drop-off areas.
Stage 2 capital works, which commenced last month, will include a technology building, science classrooms, art spaces, canteen, sports oval, a new learning space and more learning enhancement provision.
Stage 3 works will commence in 2025 and include a sports stadium, performing arts facility and Chapel.
This long-term project also includes a multi-million dollar upgrade of the Brigidine Campus in Dickson St which will commence in 2024.
We would like to express our deep gratitude for the support and dedication of our College staff, parents, and the wider community in making the vision of Kildare Campus a reality.
One culture, one community, one college; multi campus.
