SLA News

Over the last few weeks, SLA students have been exploring probability. They have been investigating the mental tricks to rock-paper-scissors, what a pack of cards and dice have to do with chance and calculating all the findings using percentages, fractions and decimals. 

SLA have also been preparing for Confirmation, which takes place in week 9. We have been learning and reflecting on the 7 Gifts of the Holy Spirit and the Fruits of the Holy Spirit. Grade 5 students have been researching an important person in history and how they encompass the Fruits of the Holy Spirit and getting ready to present it. The Grade 6 students have taken time to research and choose a saint that has inspired them and investigated how they have represented the Gifts and the Fruits of the Holy Spirit. Good luck on Friday where they present to everyone all their wonderful research.
