This week we were delighted to welcome Channel 7 Weather presenter Jane Bunn back to her former school. Jane spent time with our Year 6 students to discuss and read from her new book "Storm" which delighted everyone. Jane was equally delighted and impressed by our students' thoughtful questions and reflections. Thankyou, Jane!

Special Assembly Next Wednesday - The Resilience Project

We are excited to welcome Martin Heppell from the Resilience Project back to Beaumaris Primary School to run a whole school event next Wednesday 16th August from 12:15 – 12:45pm for our students and teachers.  Whilst we needed to schedule this in the middle of the day due to Martin's availability, we do welcome parents to join us. Martin will be focusing on reiterating the principles of Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness. 

Note:  We will still run an assembly on Friday afternoon as per usual.

Parent Consultation Evening

We did appreciate the time parents and carers gave to us last night for our Consultation Evening. Your supportive, affirming discussion was reassuring and reflections on how we can continue to grow and enhance will be discussed in relevant forums such as our school council sub-committees and School Improvement Team. 

My Leave

I will be on leave for four days commencing Tuesday 15th August. Bronwyn Fitzgerald will be Acting Principal during that time with Grace Hulls as Acting Assistant Principal. Please feel free to contact Bron and Grace as needed.
