Looking for U8 Basketball Players

We are looking for players to join our Good Shepherd Under 8 basketball team.

If your child is interested, please download and fill out the expression of interest form and hand in to the front office or email.

7&Under GS Stars

Term 3 has started, and the 7 & Under netball team were immediately back in action – Monday Week 1! It was exciting to get the team back together after 3 weeks off. Many of the team had been practising their skills over the break (throwing, shooting, leading — and stopping when catching the ball), and returned ready and eager to get back on the court.

We had a solid win against St David’s Swifts, with everyone on the team playing their part. Macy and Poppy were our main goal scorers, with Matilda scoring right before the half-time buzzer! Grace and Clara did a lot of fast and zippy running around in the centre, keeping the ball moving well. Joshua and Aniko were strong in defence, sticking like glue to their players! 

Such great teammates, and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve this term!

Year 2/3 GS Rockets

The GS Rockets got season two of the basketball season off to a good start with a 36-7 win over the Pedare Stars.  All team members performed some great steals and displayed their skilful dribbling skills across the court.

Scorers: Hunter (15 pts), Jonte (9 pts), Elijah (6 pts), Layla, Patrick, William (2 pts each)

Year 4/5 Raptors

The GS Raptors won the Grand Final at the end of Term 2 beating the Pedare Shooters, 36-13, in the championship match. Congratulations to Jayden, Oscar, Blake, Ronan, Hadassah, Downey, Jacob and Heath for topping off a successful basketball season and representing Good Shepherd with pride.
