Welcome to Level 3

Level 3 Newsletter Term 1 2020: 

Dear Parents and Guardians,

A warm welcome to the 2020 school year! The students have started the year with great enthusiasm and commitment to their learning and we know it will be a wonderful, action packed year.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome all the new students who have joined Glen Waverley Primary School this year. We are sure you will thrive on the learning and friendship at Glen Waverley Primary School. We take great pride in our supportive and friendly school community and celebrate the diverse multicultural background that is the fabric of our very proud school.

The Level Three Teaching and Learning Team are Miss Christine Marotti (3A), Mrs Laura Liddy (3B), Mrs Alana Essa (3C), Mr Christopher Di Stefano (3D) and Mrs. Gemma Simmons (3E). A very warm Glen Waverley welcome to Mrs Simmons who is also new to our school this year. Please check out her short biography attached to this newsletter. Mrs Kay Platt and Mrs Penelope Polydoros will also be working with our team in the area of Targeted Student Learning, which will support some of our Year 3 learners.

We believe that your child’s education is a partnership between both school and home. The more you are involved as a parent, the better your child will learn. It is important that we continue to promote open and honest forms of communication, so we can achieve our aim of providing the best possible learning environment for your child.
