Important Message from Armidale Catholic Schools Office re COVID-19:

"We have been closely monitoring the evolving situation around COVID-19. We have, and will continue to be, guided by information provided by the Australian and NSW Departments of Health. In light of the updated guidance received yesterday and the measures put in place by the Department of Education, we are urgently reviewing a range of items and an update will be available to parents on the CSO website by this afternoon."

At the school level we have postponed a few upcoming events.  I'm sure there will be some feelings of disappointment, however,  in the interest of everyone's health, it is the right thing to do.  We will communicate updates to our school families via the usual channels.

Year 6 Young Leaders Day

I was very fortunate to be with our School Captains at the Halogen Young Leaders event in Sydney a few weeks ago.  Halogen Australia exists to inspire and influence a generation of young people to lead themselves and others well. This year the students had the opportunity to listen to motivational speakers such as John Couttis,  Erin Molan, Rove McManus and Bianca Chattfield.   They spoke about resilience in the face of rejection and disappointment and the importance of being positive.  All in all, it was an inspiring day.  Thank you to all the parents for ensuring all the Captains were able to attend.
