Introducing Our New Team Members

Curiosity is a place where our everyday interactions with each other engages us to learn. Learning is not something that 'happens' to you but is a process that evolves immersing oneself in a place where thinking can be challenged and connections made.

We have inducted 4 work placement students into our learning community who will immerse themselves into the life as an early years educator.  One that holds great accountability and privilege.

Welcome Chloe (Miss Chloe), Olivia (Miss Olivia), Alex (Mr Alex) and Joseph (Mr Joe)

Relief Team Members

We are very excited to introduce two new relief team members to Curiosity, Mr Ollie and Mrs Sam.  Both these team members have commence their work with us and have been welcomed by the children with great care and affection.  Welcome Mr Ollie and Mrs Sam!

Hi my name is Oliver Cocking,

I go to school at Kings Baptist Grammar School as a Year 12 student. As well as my schooling subjects, I am studying a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care at Queensford College. I currently have my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, which has allowed me to begin working in an early years setting and where I have found my love for educating children. I love working in the early years profession because of the relationships that I gain with the children. Within these relationships, the opportunity to teach and nurture their social, spiritual and educational growth is something that I am passionate about. My hope and aspirations for working at Curiosity is to develop my skills and ability to work with young children. I have discovered that we are always learning, and I know that I will continue to learn alongside the children and educators at Curiosity.

Hi my name is Ms Sam,

I am super excited to join the Curiosity community as a Relief Diploma Qualified early childhood educator.  I started my career in early childhood as a centre cook when my 2 children began attending an early childhood education and care setting- a very long time ago now!  From the kitchen I observed how children were supported with their learning and wanted to become an educator.

I completed the Certificate III to be inspired to become a lead educator completing the Diploma.  I believe that children are competent and capable learners and as an early childhood educator, each day we spend with children, we learn from them too.  I look forward to getting to know you and your children.
