Project Share - June 28, 30 & July 1

We look forward to opening up to all our parent community next week as we share some wonderful expressions of 'living and learning' at Curiosity.

"Progettazione is a strategy of thought and action that is respectful and supportive of the learning processes of the children and the adults;  it accepts doubt, uncertainty and error as resources, and is capable of being modified in relation to the evolution of the contexts.  It is carried out by means of the processes of observation, documentation and interpretation in a recursive relationship, and through a close synergy between the organisation of the work and the educational research."

Carla Rinaldi (2013 - Re-Imagining Childhood)

Please remember to RSVP to your child's Lead Teacher (Tricia, Vanessa or Demi) if you intend to come.  Many thanks.

If you are attending, please follow these guidelines to support the 'flow' of the morning.

  1. Please wear a mask when inside at all times.
  2. Sign your child into Fully Booked (an Educator will meet you in the Entry to support you)
  3. Sign yourself in using the iPad (an Educator will meet you in the Entry to support you).  A name tag will be printed for you to wear.
  4. Observe your child as they complete their Morning Routine (they are extremely capable of unpacking their items so please celebrate their independence).
  5. Settle into the learning environment at Curiosity.  Your child's Lead Educator and team will invite you into the learning 'nest' for Together Time to begin the formal presentation of their research.
  6. Morning tea will be provided.  Hot drinks will be provided in cups with lids.  If moving around the Centre, we ask that you take care of your hot drinks around the children.
  7. Documenting - we know how tempting it will be to pull your phones out to take videos and photos.  To protect the digital identities of our children, we ask that you only take photos of your child and ensure that there are no other children in the frame please.  Photos will be uploaded to Storypark of the event for your viewing.
  8. Be marvelled at the research and inner workings of your children.  We certainly are!
