Subject Support is structured for small groups of students with diverse learning needs who need assistance to develop the knowledge base, skills and strategies necessary to become confident, independent learners. Students are encouraged to build on their strengths and understand their challenges, through targeted support and guidance responsive to their needs.

This is not an elective but teachers and tutors may recommend this course after consultation with the Access and Inclusion Department, if there is concern about a studentās progress.
Extension Support
Support can also be provided for the diverse learning needs of students requiring extension and enrichment in their core curriculum work.Ā This can be provided within the classroom in consultation with the teacher and/or relevant Head of Faculty, can incorporate selected co-curricular activities and, in some instances, may take the form of an individual learning program.Ā
