SACRED HEART DAY COSTUME REMINDERS

A reminder that this year's costume theme for next Friday's Sacred Heart Day celebrations is Pop Culture. The sub-themes for each year group are:

  • Year 7s = Pop Culture Books
  • Year 8s = Pop Culture Music
  • Year 9s = Pop Culture Games
  • Year 10s = Pop Culture TV Shows
  • Year 11s = Pop Culture Movies
  • Year 12s = Pop Culture Icons

COSTUME RULES:

We ask that you students are respectful and dress within the expectations of our College.

  • Costumes need to be respectful of the history, traditions and charism of the RNDM Sisters - i.e. costumes need to be modest
  • Faces cannot be covered
  • No religious costumes
  • No cross dressing
  • No face paint or body paint of any sort (it just gets too messy!)
  • No toy guns or weapons
  • No full body lycra Morph Suits that cover the face
  • No tradie costumes

Students will come to school dressed in their full Winter Uniform, including blazer. This includes wearing stockings if you are wearing a skirt. Students will be given an opportunity to change into their costumes for the remainder of the day following Mass.

I encourage all students to talk to their PCG Teacher about their plans for costumes, or see their ADP with any queries.

TICKETS

Today is also the last chance to buy tickets for food purchases and for participation in stalls and games on the day. Please secure your tickets at the link below. Students will receive their tickets on the morning of Sacred Heart Day and have the opportunity to donate any leftover tickets to the Kimberley Mission in return for a raffle ticket.
