New Sports Courts

This week saw the official ‘handover’ of the new synthetic outdoor space. 

Funding for the project came from the Department of Education and is part of the Stage 3 capital works currently being completed across the school by Nicholson Construction.  

The space includes 6 tennis courts, 4 netball courts, a half size hockey pitch, a 4 lane running track and long jump sand pit. 

Lighting has been installed, so that after hours usage is possible.  

Our Year 10 PE Active Lifestyles class was one of the first groups to use the space - playing a game of Speedball and giving it the ‘double thumbs up’! 

We are looking forward to many more students being able to take advantage of these new and exciting sports facilities.
