Prep
If anyone can handle their third lockdown in their first year of school, it's the Preps!
This group of kids have fast become experts at Google Meets and certainly enjoy looking at themselves in the camera :) We have played bingo, spaceman, shared stories and even had siblings and pets appear as our speical guests.
Literacy
The Preps did an amazing job at continuing to learn their letters and sounds during remote learning. We have now entered the exciting world of DIGRAPHS!

Today we were learning all about the /sh/ sound.
Maths
Over the past three weeks the Preps have focused on teen numbers. They have represented these numbers in many different ways and have began to explore concepts of place value.
Excursion
Yesterday a permission form was sent home about the upcoming P-2 excursion to the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens. A friendly reminder to please return permission forms by tomorrow. The Preps and I can't wait for our first ever excursion!
Aussie, Aussie, Aussie! Oi, Oi, Oi!
Yesterday the P-2's gathered round to cheer on our mens 4x200m freestyle relay bring home bronze. The Preps have been enjoying learning about the Olympics and watching the athletes trying their best.
