Faith Matters

Dear St Francis Xavier Families,

Once again, we are delighted to all be back on site at SFX.

May I take this opportunity to thank you for all you have done to support our precious children during the remote learning period.  Having spoken to the staff and many of the students themselves, it has been wonderful to hear about the encouragement and support you have been providing for their education and wellbeing during this challenging period. 

You may be aware that during the morning meetings the teachers were sharing prayers, faith songs and stories with their classes.  Last week I was delighted to see several of the on-site Junior students 'seat dancing' during one of the prayer songs.  I heard some of the 3/4s actually stood up and danced during one of their prayers (Miss Erin told me she was very tempted to join in!)

Today I was able to send home a letter to our First Communion Families informing them of the new dates for this long awaited celebration.  Let's hope and pray it eventuates. 

I recently found this prayer and immediately thought I would like to share it with you.
