David's Message
Sail into a universe of possibilities...
Ode to a Frisbee
I'm just a frisbee, stuck in a tree
The other toys are jealous of me
Out of reach so you can't throw me
Cos I'm just a frisbee, stuck in a tree
I'm here among the birds and bees
They sing and buzz each day for me
So that I won't feel sad or lonely
Cos I'm just a frisbee, stuck in a tree.
I wonder who my owner could be,
Way up here where they can't see
A child, a parent or loyal employee
Farewell to your frisbee, stuck in a tree.
Dear Parents and Carers,
There are lots of exciting events coming up with a really greta way to support the school taking place tomorrow - The Bunnings BBQ fundraiser. Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered and if you are in the area or need to do a bit of home improvement, please drop in to say hello!
We will be sending out emails and log in details for the Parent Opinion Survey next week - we really value our parent opinions about all the things you love about the school and all the things we can do to improve, this survey can be translated into 9 different languages and if you need support (or to borrow an iPad) to complete this, please let us know.
A Message from Matt Schulz, our Fundraising Committee Chair:
Now what's more Aussie than a Bunnings sausage sizzle fundraiser? This Saturday, just out of lockdown, a hearty crew of Sunshine Heights parents will be making an Olympic-sized effort to turn snags into gold for the school.
We’re hoping to raise at least $1000 for a new student garden and activity area outside the gym. Tell your friends and family to swing by for a banger or two and support the school.
We’ll be at Bunnings Sunshine on Ballarat Rd from 9-4pm, come and say “hi”.
