SCHOOL PHOTOS ~ TUESDAY 20TH JULY 2021

Envelopes for this year's School Photos were sent home last week (one per child). Montage Fotos have moved to online ordering. This  means that families may choose to either order online or pay with cash. 

• Online orders will close today, (Monday 19th July) and no online orders will be accepted after this time.
• Please ensure that cash orders have the correct money in the envelope.
• If you are not ordering photos, your child will still be required to be in full winter uniform for whole school, class and individual photos for the school file.

ABSENT NOTE

We are finding that many students have absences that are unexplained. A reminder that when your child is absent from school, you need to explain this absence within 7 days.

ADDING AN ABSENT NOTE ON COMPASS

The Compass app is designed to allow parents the convenience of adding an approved absence note for their child, directly from their phone/computer etc. without having to email or send in a written note (which is still acceptable).

If your child is marked absent, at approximately 10:30am,  you will receive an alert on your Compass Parent Portal.

STEP 1

Click on the notification to add the note for one or more absences.

STEP 2

Complete the reason and add details/comment for the absence and then click 'Explain with Note/Approval'.

STEP 3

If you know in advance that your child will be absent, you can click on 'Add Attendance Note' and repeat Step 2, selecting the applicable date range.

It is your responsibility to explain your child's absence, however if after 2 days we haven't received an explanation, a letter will be sent home for you to complete and return to school.

If we still haven't received an explanation after 7 days, your child will be recorded as having an UNEXPLAINED ABSENCE.
