ACC SOCCER

The grand final was played on Wednesday at the Veneto Club in Bulleen vs St. Bernard’s, unfortunately, lost in penalties 3-2, after trailing most of the match 2-1, the boys rallied and Marcus Di Meo scored perhaps the best goal of the season to level at 2-2. The boys continued to push for the winner but it just didn’t eventuate even after extra time. While a disappointing result particularly for our year 12’s, everyone can be proud of their effort to continue to place Mazenod as one of the strongest soccer colleges in the ACC.

ACC Footy & Soccer Uniforms

A reminder to all players and parents that football and soccer jumpers need to be returned to the college. These may be collected at the conclusion of the final match. However, if this does not occur, can you please return them washed to the sports office.

Students who do not return their tops will be charged $75 to replace them.

Term 3 ACC Sport

A reminder to all that ACC fixtures for Years 9, 10 and Seniors will begin in the first week of Term 3. Please keep checking the fixture link above for the up to date fixturing. Years 7 and 8 will continue on the first week of term, with squads finalised ready to start in Week 2.

For those playing hockey a reminder that you must wear shin-pads and a mouth guard at all times while playing.
