Camp News from Term 2

Camp

Year 6 Camp was a great success.

We were able to visit Sovereign Hill for a couple of days, which was a nice make up for missing out last year.

Our camp started with our arrival at Adekate Lodge where we got into our cabins, unpacked and ready to have fun!

Fist off was a giant game of Capture the Flag, followed by a Bush Walk. Dinner saw us celebrate the first of the three birthdays on camp. Happy Birthday Noah

The next day we set out to do some activities Bouldering/High Wall climb and the Obstacle Course Low Ropes. The afternoon saw us do Team Initiatives. After dinner we had the second of our birthdays Happy Birthday Jackson. After dinner we played 'Minute to Win it'.

The next day was Sovereign Hill with many activities  including watching the Lolly Making, The Red Hill mine tour and an experience of living in the 'Olden Days'.

Back home for the last of our birthdays, Happy Birthday Lachie, followed by a Camp Fire

The next day was Sovereign Hill again. Today's activities included Candle Dipping, watching the Gold Pouring and the perennial favourite game of 'Gold Fever'. We were blessed on both days to have great weather and the children loved panning for gold on both days. That evening we had a MASSIVE  Birthday Party to celebrate all three birthdays on camp.

Our final day was met with sadness as we got ready to go home, but not before the Adekate Lodge Great Race.
