Welcome back to Term 3

Welcome Back to Term 3

Welcome back everyone .

The first thing we should do is congratulate Olivia Whitehouse. Olivia has accepted a position as a Leadership Partner with the DSSI team of the Education Department. Differentiated Support for School Improvement (the DSSI Team) comprises four initiatives tailored to school need, recognising that schools at different stages of their improvement journey require different supports.

We cannot think of a more qualified, experienced or dedicated educator for that type of role. Olivia's commitment to the welfare and development of students and fellow educators is unquestionable.

Clearly, we are thrilled for her and wish her all the best. But equally, we are saddened to lose her from the school. Good luck, Olivia.

With Olivia leaving, that means that Erin Scott will step out of the classroom to allow her to resume her tireless role as a Learning Specialist to support the rest of the school.

Erin's energy and sense of humour will be missed in the classroom, however she will continue to support us and be a regular visitor to the BER.

This means that we welcome Elizabeth O'Meara to our fold. Elizabeth is an experienced teacher with many years experience. She has joined the Knox Park community with enthusiasm and has already cemented her place in the team.

Reminders to Parents

Please ensure that you have clearly labelled ALL of your child’s school uniform items.
With cold and wet weather likely this term, it is always good to send your child to school with spare socks and even a spare pair of bottoms, including a plastic bag, just in case.
Personal Hand Sanitiser is also encouraged.

Reminders to Students

Hats are not compulsory this term
Remember to regularly wash your hands. If you have your own sanitiser make sure you use it when you cannot wash your hands.
