Wellbeing

This term our staff have continued our professional learning and understanding of the Zones of Regulation.   We are increasingly using this language and resource in our online classrooms to support students to identify emotions, name them and use strategies to regulate using coping strategies. 

 

We encourage families to use this language at home and talk about ways to feel Green that work for your child/ren at home.  Maybe, Jump on trampoline to energise or go for a walk to take a break.

Aunty Lee - Meditation

Aunty Lee has continued throughout the term to film us wellbeing messages and meditations from her home in Bright.  We encourage everyone to find some time to watch some of her videos shared to our TPS community. 

The Princess in Black

This term has continued to challenge us all with the ongoing pandemic and the lock down restrictions we are following.  We recognise that this takes a huge toll on our mental wellness and continue to provide our community with supports for self care, wellness and resilience during this time. 

 

There are also many resources available for children to explain and help understand what is happening in the world around us.  Here is a comic story book narrated by Emma, titled The Princess in Black.
