From the Local Council about our School Crossing Arrangements

From the afternoon of Wed 14 Oct 2020 the majority of Maroondah City Council School Crossing Supervisors will be supplied with hand held whistles and will no longer provide voice commands to pedestrians.

This will mean that pedestrian will need to listen for the whistle as they previously would -

  • WALK  - 2 whistles.
  • STOP - 1 whistle.

We are asking you to assist Council and your school crossing supervisors by informing your school community of this change in crossing procedures.
