Congratulations!

The last row of the table showing students who met the Premiers’ Reading Challenge did not appear on the newsletter last week. Here is the correct list of students in Prep who met the Premiers’ Reading Challenge:

Maggie Wallis

     Prep

Sammie Price

     Prep

Maelys Haynes

     Prep

We now await the certificates from the Premier!

Thanks to everyone who supported this process.

Library Access and Lessons:

We are still in the process of setting up access to both branches for students and staff to access the wonderful collections we have safely for all College staff and students. Miss Welst has offered to change her working hours to better assist Junior School Library lessons and we are currently looking to reschedule Senior School Reading lessons so that one of us is on site to support the teacher and students of each Year 7 – 10 class to select appropriate titles and facilitate lending. In the meantime, our click and collect process is still operating.

Thank you.

I would like to thank every parent, student and teacher who made contact during remote learning. I was delighted with the high level of communication, involvement in the Premiers’ Reading Challenge, and the borrowing of books. School libraries offer a wide range of support for social, emotional, and academic purposes.

If you are interested as to what school libraries offer, Friday 20th October at 7.30pm there will be a livestream event on Facebook being run by #StudentsNeedSchoolLibraries – you can read more about this organisation on their website by clicking here.
