Reptile Encounters!

On Monday, the Yr 1 children had a virtual excursion with Dan and his reptiles from Reptile Encounters. We saw a crocodile, turtle, lizards and pythons. It was a lot of fun seeing and learning about the different reptiles. Here are some recounts and photos about the excursion. - Ms Torchia, 1A

The students really enjoyed learning about the many reptiles that were presented and here are some of their recounts about the Incursion.

Online ordering for Uniform Shop and Canteen lunches

Stay tuned for details of this exciting and convenient new option for our families. Details will be shared first week of term four.

Please Don't Forget...

...to name all pieces of uniform and other items such as lunch boxes and drink bottles.  At the end of term clear out, we found over 20 unnamed jumpers and jackets in the Lost Property box. Please take the time to write your surname on tags with permanent marker, or else sew in cloth name tags so all these valuable items can be returned to students.

Be Sun Smart

A reminder that QoP has a 'No Hat, No Play' policy in force in Terms 1 and 4.  All children and staff members must wear a hat when outside. CLICK HERE to read the Uniform Policy or refer to the 2020 INFORMATION BOOKLET. The summer uniform should be worn during Term 1 and 4 however, we do suggest to parents that their children may wear the uniform which is most comfortable and appropriate to the weather on a given day.

A Message from OSHClub

Dear Queen of Peace OSHClub families,

We really hope you are doing well in these unprecedented times. We really miss you all and hoping to see you in term 4. We know it's a confusing and uncertain time but we also know that tough times don't last and hopefully soon everything would be back to normal.  Every Year we try to do Operation Christmas Child at Queen of Peace OSHClub.   Operation Christmas Child is a hands on way for all of us to bless children in need across the world by filling shoe boxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, clothing etc. In these current circumstances if you are able  to fill the boxes  up and support children in need as they are from the most deprived areas of the world. For more information you can visit the website "Operation Christmas Child".

Have a lovely term break and be safe.

Kind Regards,

Geeta, Antoinette and Ashleigh - OSHClub.
