Wear it Purple Day

WE ARE THE CHANGE

Next Friday the 28th August is Wear. It. Purple. Day. https://www.wearitpurple.org/

This day is an international awareness day to show rainbow young people that there are people in their community that support and care about them. Young people everywhere (and especially here at Greensborough College) have the right to be themselves and to be proud of who they are.

On Friday 28th August all students and staff are invited to wear something purple on the day during online classes to show support. This can be something small like one purple painted nail or a purple t-shirt, or you can dress head to toe in purple (as long as you don’t have a purple background on WebEx because then your teacher won’t be able to see you!)

Please see attached an online forum from the City of Whittlesea for Wednesday 16th September. This forum is for parents and families that wish to swot up on information to support our neighbours, friends and family members that are LGBTI+.
