Students of the Week

Congratulations to the following students who were awarded Student of the Week this week and last week. All certificates will be mailed out to our students. The following people will need to keep an eye out for the postie.

*Prep A - Alexis Mc - for doing such an amazing job with your Home Learning tasks, Alexis. You have really tried your personal best and this can be seen in the high quality of your work. You are a super star.

Wade Hansen - Well done Wade. You have been so engaged in Home Learning and it is wonderful to see you continuing your learning with a positive attitude. Keep up the awesome work.

*Prep B - Dj D Mc - Well done Dj on all your hard work. We love seeing your smiling face each morning on our Webex meetings. We enjoy listening to you read. Keep up the great work.

Kyla F - Well done Kyla you have been a super star learner. Thank you for working so hard at home during remote learning. It has been great to see some of your wonderful work. Keep up the great work.

*1/2A - Mikaila F – for consistently engaging in remote learning. Mikaila, it is great to see you working so hard on your learning at home. You have submitted some excellent work samples on Class Dojo. I really enjoy listening to you read your reader each day. Keep up the fantastic work.

Zarliah B – for working really hard on your learning at home. You have been trying really hard with all of the remote learning tasks and have submitted some excellent work samples on Class Dojo. Your AFL shop was fantastic this week and it was great that I got a chance to buy some items from your store. Keep up the terrific work.

*1/2B - Skyla B – You are doing such a wonderful job with remote learning. It has been great to see you on Webex each morning with a big smile on your face. I have really enjoyed reading your magnificent writing lately. Keep it up! Well done Skyla.

Ace R – It has been fantastic to see you regularly attending our Webex meetings. You are doing a wonderful job with remote learning and I enjoy seeing your fantastic work each day. Keep it up! Well done Ace.

*1/2C - Achilles M - Achilles, I have been so impressed by your positive ‘can do’ attitude towards your remote learning. It is fantastic to see you attending our Webex meetings and actively participating. You listen well and take feedback on board. Keep up your terrific efforts. I’m so proud of you.

Isabella M - I am so proud of the way you have stepped so positively into remote learning. You apply yourself to all you do and give every task, attention to detail and your personal best. Your care and pride to the work you submit to your portfolio is outstanding. I have loved seeing you open up and share your work during our Webex meetings and I love listening to your lovely expression when you record an audio of your writing for me to listen to. Keep reaching for the stars!

*3/4A - Harlem M – for great participation during our daily Webex meetings and massive efforts with his home learning, well done Harlem. Keep up the great work.

Maddison A – It has been wonderful to see your smile during out Webex check-ins over the past two weeks. You are putting in a wonderful effort with your reading videos and having a go at different pieces of work. Well done!

*3/4B - Stella P - for producing a fantastic story called Lilliana and her Penguin. Stella it was wonderful to read your story and all the ideas you were able to include. The work you have been producing during Remote Learning has been excellent. Keep up the great work!

Tyler M - for producing some amazing work throughout Remote Learning. Tyler it has been awesome to see the quality of work you have submitted through Dojo. We can see that you are working hard and completing all set tasks. Keep up the great work!

*3/4C - Inga S - Inga, your commitment to remote learning has been excellent. You are regularly posting to Dojo, are always an enthusiastic and hardworking participant during our Webex meetings and it is great to see you asking questions when you are not sure of our work. Well done Inga!

Miguel C - Miguel, your commitment to remote learning has been excellent. It is great to see you joining every Webex session including being part of our Reading Strategy Group. You post all of your work on time and are completing each piece to the best of your ability. Well done Miguel!

It has been wonderful to see how much work you have been completing an uploading, seeing your face at every WebEx and watching how engaged and confident you are at discussing your thoughts, ideas and opinions in our Strategy Groups. Keep up the fantastic work!

Stella H - For continuing to work incredibly hard during your remote learning. You complete and upload every learning task that is required and always at a high standard. It has been wonderful to see how much you are enjoying writing and being incredibly creative with the texts you write and publish. You consistently contribute your ideas and understandings in Strategy Groups and demonstrate a great understanding. Keep up the fantastic work!

*5/6C - Kariah M - For writing a sustained piece of writing and capturing the audience’s attention with your vocabulary choice. You are completing expectations with the amount and quality of writing. Keep it up!

Oscar H - For his commitment and dedication towards his learning during remote learning. You are learning to write with more substance and depth in your writing and are kicking goals with maths. Keep up the awesome work Oscar!

*Art - Mikaila F - What a wonderful Recycled Sculpture you have made! I love the colour and pizazz of your LOL car! Keep up the great work!

Lucas H - For an excellent “Take the Line For A Walk” art piece. Lucas, I love the detail in your art work and your skilful colouring in.

*Music/Indonesian - Inga S - For posting a beautiful video of you ballet dancing to some classical music. It is lovely to see you enjoy music and dance.

Marcus V - For being such a great help with the Indonesian orangutan puppets. Your photo’s of them were fantastic and the little kids loved the ‘tricks’ Bobo and Budi got up to. Well done and thank you.

*PE - Dakoda M F, Mia C and Taylor C - For working as a team to create an epic trick shot. I loved the creativity and complexity of your plan and I admired the perseverance and problem solving that took place. Well done!

For every 50 nights of reading that a student completes, a certificate of achievement and a new book will be awarded for their effort. Keep up the nightly reading everyone and don't forget to upload it to Class Dojo so your teacher can see how many nights you've read.
