Music Matters
Student Led Conferences
Although our instrumental staff are not available on Wednesday, 26 August, please reach out to them with an email to arrange a meeting time.
This could be during your child’s instrumental lesson on Microsoft Teams or a phone call at a time that suits.
Please don’t interrupt your child’s lesson without arranging it with the instrumental teacher first as you may disturb other students’ learning. Meetings can be arranged any time in the next few weeks. We are keen to keep open the lines of communication with parents and help you support your child in their instrumental studies.
Your child’s instrumental teacher can help with ways to keep them engaged and motivated, so please don’t hesitate to contact them or Mr Dean through email whenever you have any instrumental concerns.
Home support
Please keep checking your child’s attendance at lessons and rehearsals. We can’t wait to be back at school next term (fingers crossed) and hear students all playing together again.
We are also still planning to hold the Spring Concert on 20 October with only three weeks of rehearsal, so it is important that students maintain their practice routines.
We appreciate the family support at home to allow students to keep their skills up during this crazy time. I hope you’re all enjoying hearing some music around the house.
