Year 9 “Maths Monster” CAT

Over the last month, the Year 9s have been busy designing and then collecting 3D household packaging to make their own “Monster”, with the aim to calculate the total surface area and volume of their creations. 

There have not only been some wonderful constructions, but also excellent questions asked and detailed calculations produced to accompany these beasts. 

Thank you to parents and guardians who kindly agreed to buy certain food items just to gain a specific shape for these Monsters.
