Prayer and Reflection

As we emerge from our HSC trial exams we pray…

Dear Lord,

Give us peace in our hearts, our bodies, our minds, our souls, as we await our results patiently and with confidence knowing that we will emerge victorious.

Let worry, fear and doubt flee at the sound of Your great name.

Grant us favour Loving Father, in the eyes of the examiners. We put our uttermost faith and trust in You.

Amen.

Our Lady of the Rosary. Pray for us.

St Dominic Celebration Prayer

On Wednesday 10 August, we remembered and celebrated our Dominican heritage during our year level assemblies. In the video presentation students and staff were reminded of the pivotal role of the the Dominican Sisters who travelled to Tamworth in the late 1800’s to build a Catholic school for the children in the bush. The sisters’ sacrifice and commitment to their Catholic faith, the Church and the founder of the Dominican Order, St Dominic, forms one of the two foundation stones  of McCarthy Catholic College.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Olivia Achurch and her family after the passing of her grandfather and to Campbell and Lawson Thompson and their family after the passing of their grandmother.
